What is texlive-gnuplottex
This package allows you to include Gnuplot graphs in your LaTeX documents. The gnuplot code is extracted from the document and written to .gnuplot files. Then, if shell escape is used, the graph files are automatically processed to graphics or LaTeX code files which will then be included in the document. If shell escape isn’t used, the user will have to manually convert the files by running gnuplot on the extracted .gnuplot files.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-gnuplottex
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-gnuplottex.
Install texlive-gnuplottex on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-gnuplottex
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-gnuplottex

Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-gnuplottex
using yum

How To Uninstall texlive-gnuplottex on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-gnuplottex
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-gnuplottex
