How To Install texlive-g-brief on Fedora 36

In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-g-brief
on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-g-brief
Designed for formatting formless letters in German; can also be used for English (by those who can read the documentation). There are LaTeX 2.09 documentstyle and LaTeX 2e class files for both an ‘old’ and a ’new’ version of g-brief.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-g-brief
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-g-brief.
Install texlive-g-brief on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-g-brief
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-g-brief
Install texlive-g-brief on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-g-brief
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-g-brief
How To Uninstall texlive-g-brief on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-g-brief
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-g-brief
