In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-concrete on Fedora 36.

What is texlive-concrete

Concrete Roman fonts, designed by Donald E. Knuth, originally for use with Euler mathematics fonts. Alternative mathematics fonts, based on the concrete ‘parameter set’ are available as the concmath fonts bundle. LaTeX support is offered by the beton, concmath and ccfonts packages. T1- and TS1-encoded versions of the fonts are available in the ecc bundle, and Adobe Type 1 versions of the ecc fonts are part of the cm-super bundle.

We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-concrete on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-concrete.

Install texlive-concrete on Fedora 36 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install texlive-concrete using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install texlive-concrete

Install texlive-concrete on Fedora 36 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install texlive-concrete using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install texlive-concrete

How To Uninstall texlive-concrete on Fedora 36

To uninstall only the texlive-concrete package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove texlive-concrete
