How To Install texlive-checkend on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-checkend
on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-checkend
When an environment is left open, LaTeX gives an error at the end of the document. However it only informs about the first of them, while the rest are shown with meaningless errors occurred inside a group at level N) This package replaces these errors with more useful messages which show which environments (in reverse order) were not closed. There are no user macros just use the package.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-checkend
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-checkend.

Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-checkend
using dnf
