Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-biblatex-swiss-legal on Fedora 36.

The package provides BibLaTeX bibliography and citation styles for documents written in accordance with Swiss legal citation standards in either French or German. However, according to https ng-biblatex-swiss-legal-not-displayed-correctly the package is at present outdated and does not work properly with newer versions of BibLaTeX.

We can use yum or dnf to install texlive-biblatex-swiss-legal on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-biblatex-swiss-legal.

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install texlive-biblatex-swiss-legal using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install texlive-biblatex-swiss-legal

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install texlive-biblatex-swiss-legal using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install texlive-biblatex-swiss-legal

To uninstall only the texlive-biblatex-swiss-legal package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove texlive-biblatex-swiss-legal
