How To Install texlive-autopdf on Fedora 36

In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-autopdf
on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-autopdf
The package facilitates the on-the-fly conversion of various graphics formats to formats supported by pdfLaTeX (e.g. PDF). It uses a range of external programs, and therefore requires that the LaTeX run starts with write18 enabled.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-autopdf
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-autopdf.
Install texlive-autopdf on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-autopdf
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-autopdf
Install texlive-autopdf on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-autopdf
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-autopdf
How To Uninstall texlive-autopdf on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-autopdf
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-autopdf
