How To Install texlive-autoarea on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-autoarea
on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-autoarea
This package makes PiCTeX recognize lines and arcs in determining the “bounding box” of a picture. (PiCTeX so far accounted for put commands only). The “bounding box” is essential for proper placement of a picture between running text and margins and for keeping the running text away.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-autoarea
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-autoarea.
Install texlive-autoarea on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-autoarea
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-autoarea
Install texlive-autoarea on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-autoarea
using yum
by running the following command:

How To Uninstall texlive-autoarea on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-autoarea
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-autoarea
