Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install texlive-advdate
on Fedora 36.
What is texlive-advdate
Provides macros which can add a specified number of days to the current date (as specified in \today), to save, set and restore the ‘current date’ and to print it. Intended use is, for example, in invoices “payable within 14 days from today”, etc. The package has only been tested with Czech dates.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install texlive-advdate
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install texlive-advdate.
Install texlive-advdate on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-advdate
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install texlive-advdate
Install texlive-advdate on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install texlive-advdate
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install texlive-advdate
How To Uninstall texlive-advdate on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the texlive-advdate
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove texlive-advdate
