How To Install svnkit on Fedora 36

on Fedora 36.
What is svnkit
SVNKit is a pure java Subversion client library. You would like to use SVNKit when you need to access or modify Subversion repository from your Java application, as a standalone program and plugin or web application. Being a pure java program, SVNKit doesn’t need any additional configuration or native binaries to work on any OS that runs java.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install svnkit
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install svnkit.
Install svnkit on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install svnkit
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install svnkit
Install svnkit on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install svnkit
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install svnkit
How To Uninstall svnkit on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the svnkit
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove svnkit
