How To Install sslscan on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install sslscan
on Fedora 36.
What is sslscan
SSLScan queries SSL services, such as HTTPS, in order to determine the ciphers that are supported. SSLScan is designed to be easy, lean and fast. The output includes preferred ciphers of the SSL service, the certificate and is in text and XML formats.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install sslscan
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install sslscan.
Install sslscan on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install sslscan
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install sslscan
Install sslscan on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install sslscan
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install sslscan
How To Uninstall sslscan on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the sslscan
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove sslscan
