How To Install seadrive-daemon on Fedora 36

What is seadrive-daemon
Seafile is a next-generation open source cloud storage system, with advanced support for file syncing, privacy protection and teamwork. Seafile allows users to create groups with file syncing, wiki, and discussion to enable easy collaboration around documents within a team. This package contains the daemon part of Seafile Drive client. The Drive client enables you to access files on the server without syncing to local disk.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install seadrive-daemon
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install seadrive-daemon.
Install seadrive-daemon on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install seadrive-daemon
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install seadrive-daemon
Install seadrive-daemon on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install seadrive-daemon
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install seadrive-daemon
How To Uninstall seadrive-daemon on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the seadrive-daemon
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove seadrive-daemon
