How To Install scanssh on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install scanssh
on Fedora 36.
What is scanssh
ScanSSH supports scanning a list of addresses and networks for open proxies, SSH protocol servers, Web and SMTP servers. Where possible ScanSSH, displays the version number of the running services. ScanSSH protocol scanner supports random selection of IP addresses from large network ranges and is useful for gathering statistics on the deployment of SSH protocol servers in a company or the Internet as whole.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install scanssh
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install scanssh.
Install scanssh on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install scanssh
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install scanssh
Install scanssh on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install scanssh
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install scanssh
How To Uninstall scanssh on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the scanssh
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove scanssh
