How To Install rwho on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install rwho
on Fedora 36.
What is rwho
The rwho command displays output similar to the output of the who command (it shows who is logged in) for all machines on the local network running the rwho daemon. Install the rwho command if you need to keep track of the users who are logged in to your local network.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install rwho
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install rwho.
Install rwho on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install rwho
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install rwho
Install rwho on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install rwho
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install rwho
How To Uninstall rwho on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the rwho
package we can use the following command:
