How To Install rusers on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install rusers
on Fedora 36.
What is rusers
The rusers program allows users to find out who is logged into various machines on the local network. The rusers command produces output similar to who, but for the specified list of hosts or for all machines on the local network. Install rusers if you need to keep track of who is logged into your local network.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install rusers
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install rusers.
Install rusers on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install rusers
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install rusers
Install rusers on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install rusers
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install rusers
How To Uninstall rusers on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the rusers
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove rusers
