How To Install remoot on Fedora 36

on Fedora 36.
What is remoot
ReMoot is a remote control that supports many popular multimedia applications running on GNU/Linux. It wraps around these apps and provides a unified and easy-to-use interface which can be accessed in many different ways. You can use the remote control from the command-line, with desktop icons or panel buttons, over the web with “rewwwoot” or by mapping your multimedia keyboard to it so that you can control all supported applications with the same keys.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install remoot
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install remoot.
Install remoot on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install remoot
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install remoot

using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install remoot
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install remoot
How To Uninstall remoot on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the remoot
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove remoot
