In this tutorial we learn how to install R-munsell on Fedora 36.

What is `R-munsell`

Provides easy access to, and manipulation of, the Munsell colours. Provides a mapping between Munsell’s original notation (e.g. “5R 5/10”) and hexadecimal strings suitable for use directly in R graphics. Also provides utilities to explore slices through the Munsell colour tree, to transform Munsell colours and display colour palettes.

We can use yum or dnf to install R-munsell on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install R-munsell.

Install R-munsell on Fedora 36 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install R-munsell using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install R-munsell

Install R-munsell on Fedora 36 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install R-munsell using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install R-munsell

How To Uninstall R-munsell on Fedora 36

To uninstall only the R-munsell package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove R-munsell
