on Fedora 36.
What is qgle
GLE (Graphics Layout Engine) is a high-quality graphics package for scientists, combining a user-friendly scripting language with a full range of facilities for producing publication-quality graphs, diagrams, posters and slides. GLE provides LaTeX quality fonts together with a flexible graphics module which allows the user to specify any feature of a graph. Complex pictures can be drawn with user-defined subroutines and simple looping structures. Current output formats include EPS, PS, PDF, JPEG, and PNG. This package contains the QT frontend.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install qgle
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install qgle.
Install qgle on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install qgle
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install qgle

using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install qgle
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install qgle
How To Uninstall qgle on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the qgle
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove qgle
