What is plexus-resources

The Plexus project seeks to create end-to-end developer tools for writing applications. At the core is the container, which can be embedded or for a full scale application server. There are many reusable components for hibernate, form processing, jndi, i18n, velocity, etc. Plexus also includes an application server which is like a J2EE application server, without all the baggage.

We can use yum or dnf to install plexus-resources on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install plexus-resources.

Install plexus-resources on Fedora 36 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install plexus-resources using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install plexus-resources

Install plexus-resources on Fedora 36 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install plexus-resources using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install plexus-resources

How To Uninstall plexus-resources on Fedora 36

To uninstall only the plexus-resources package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove plexus-resources
