How To Install perl-Taint-Util on Fedora 36

What is perl-Taint-Util
Wraps perl’s internal routines for checking and setting the taint flag and thus does not rely on regular expressions for untainting or odd tricks involving eval and kill for checking whether data is tainted; instead, it checks and flips a flag on the scalar in-place.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install perl-Taint-Util
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-Taint-Util.
Install perl-Taint-Util on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Taint-Util
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-Taint-Util
Install perl-Taint-Util on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Taint-Util
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-Taint-Util
How To Uninstall perl-Taint-Util on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the perl-Taint-Util
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove perl-Taint-Util
