What is perl-Net-LibIDN2

This Perl module provides bindings for GNU Libidn2, a C library for handling internationalized domain names according to IDNA 2008 (RFC 5890, RFC 5891, RFC 5892, RFC 5893).

We can use yum or dnf to install perl-Net-LibIDN2 on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-Net-LibIDN2.

Install perl-Net-LibIDN2 on Fedora 36 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install perl-Net-LibIDN2 using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install perl-Net-LibIDN2

Install perl-Net-LibIDN2 on Fedora 36 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install perl-Net-LibIDN2 using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install perl-Net-LibIDN2

How To Uninstall perl-Net-LibIDN2 on Fedora 36

To uninstall only the perl-Net-LibIDN2 package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove perl-Net-LibIDN2
