What is perl-Log-Trace

This module provides a unified approach to tracing. A script can ‘use Log default, the trace functions are exported to the calling package only. You can export the trace functions to other packages with the ‘Deep’ option. See the “OPTIONS” manpage for more information.

We can use yum or dnf to install perl-Log-Trace on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-Log-Trace.

Install perl-Log-Trace on Fedora 36 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install perl-Log-Trace using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install perl-Log-Trace

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache --refresh
