What is perl-less
“use less …;” is a Perl user-pragma. If you’re very lucky some code you’re using will know that you asked for less CPU usage or RAM or fat or… we just can’t know.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install perl-less
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-less.
Install perl-less on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-less
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-less
Install perl-less on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-less
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-less
How To Uninstall perl-less on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the perl-less
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove perl-less

/usr/share/man/man3/less.3pm.gz
