What is perl-IO-Socket-SSL
This module is a true drop-in replacement for IO uses SSL to encrypt data before it is transferred to a remote server or client. IO needs to write a full-featured SSL client or server application multiple SSL contexts, cipher selection, certificate verification, and SSL version selection. As an extra bonus, it works perfectly with mod_perl.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install perl-IO-Socket-SSL

Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-IO-Socket-SSL
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-IO-Socket-SSL
Install perl-IO-Socket-SSL on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-IO-Socket-SSL
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-IO-Socket-SSL
How To Uninstall perl-IO-Socket-SSL on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the perl-IO-Socket-SSL
package we can use the following command:
