What is perl-Apache-Htpasswd
This module comes with a set of methods to use with htaccess password files. These files (and htaccess) are used to do Basic Authentication on a web server. The passwords file is a flat-file with login name and their associated encrypted password. You can use this for non-Apache files if you wish, but it was written specifically for .htaccess style files.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install perl-Apache-Htpasswd

Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Apache-Htpasswd
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-Apache-Htpasswd
Install perl-Apache-Htpasswd on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Apache-Htpasswd
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-Apache-Htpasswd
How To Uninstall perl-Apache-Htpasswd on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the perl-Apache-Htpasswd
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove perl-Apache-Htpasswd
