Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install onesixtyone
on Fedora 36.
What is onesixtyone
onesixtyone takes a different approach to SNMP scanning. It takes advantage of the fact that SNMP is a connection-less protocol and sends all SNMP requests as fast as it can. Then the scanner waits for responses to come back and logs them, in a fashion similar to Nmap ping sweeps.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install onesixtyone
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install onesixtyone.
Install onesixtyone on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install onesixtyone
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install onesixtyone
