How To Install nawk on Fedora 36
Introduction

on Fedora 36.
What is nawk
This is the version of awk described in “The AWK Programming Language”, by Al Aho, Brian Kernighan, and Peter Weinberger. (Addison-Wesley, 1988, ISBN 0-201-07981-X).
We can use yum
or dnf
to install nawk
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install nawk.
Install nawk on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install nawk
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install nawk

using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install nawk
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install nawk
How To Uninstall nawk on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the nawk
package we can use the following command:
