Mtools supports Windows95 style long file names, OS/2 XDF disks, and 2m disks Mtools should be installed if you need to use MS-DOS disks

Install mtools on Fedora 36 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install mtools using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install mtools

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install mtools using yum by running the following command:
