What is mrchem-data

MRChem is a numerical real-space code for molecular electronic structure calculations within the self-consistent field (SCF) approximations of quantum chemistry (Hartree-Fock and Density Functional Theory). This package contains the data files for MRChem.

We can use yum or dnf to install mrchem-data on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install mrchem-data.

Install mrchem-data on Fedora 36 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install mrchem-data using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install mrchem-data

Install mrchem-data on Fedora 36 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install mrchem-data using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install mrchem-data

How To Uninstall mrchem-data on Fedora 36
