What is mozilla-privacy-badger
Privacy Badger is a browser add-on that stops advertisers and other third-party trackers from secretly tracking where you go and what pages you look at on the web. If an advertiser seems to be tracking you across multiple websites without your permission, Privacy Badger automatically blocks that advertiser from loading any more content in your browser. To the advertiser, it’s like you suddenly disappeared.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install mozilla-privacy-badger
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install mozilla-privacy-badger.
Install mozilla-privacy-badger on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install mozilla-privacy-badger
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install mozilla-privacy-badger
Install mozilla-privacy-badger on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install mozilla-privacy-badger
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install mozilla-privacy-badger
How To Uninstall mozilla-privacy-badger on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the mozilla-privacy-badger
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove mozilla-privacy-badger
