In this tutorial we learn how to install moolticute on Fedora 36.

What is `moolticute`

Moolticute is an easy to use companion app to your Mooltipass device and extends the power of the device to more platform/tools. It allows you to manage your Mooltipass with a cross-platform app and daemon service that handles all USB communication with the device. Moolticute comes with a daemon that runs in the background, and a user interface app to control your Mooltipass. Other clients can also connect and talk to the daemon (it uses a WebSocket connection and simple JSON messages).

We can use yum or dnf to install moolticute on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install moolticute.

Install moolticute on Fedora 36 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install moolticute using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install moolticute

Install moolticute on Fedora 36 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install moolticute using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install moolticute

How To Uninstall moolticute on Fedora 36

To uninstall only the moolticute package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove moolticute
