How To Install mod_mono on Fedora 36

What is mod_mono
mod_mono allows Apache to serve ASP.NET pages by proxying the requests to a slightly modified version of the XSP server, called mod-mono-server, that is installed along with XSP
We can use yum
or dnf
to install mod_mono
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install mod_mono.
Install mod_mono on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install mod_mono
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install mod_mono
Install mod_mono on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install mod_mono
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install mod_mono
How To Uninstall mod_mono on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the mod_mono
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove mod_mono
