What is mingw64-libidn

GNU Libidn is an implementation of the Stringprep, Punycode and IDNA specifications defined by the IETF Internationalized Domain Names (IDN) working group, used for internationalized domain names.

We can use yum or dnf to install mingw64-libidn on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install mingw64-libidn.

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

After updating yum database, We can install mingw64-libidn using dnf by running the following command:
