What is mingw32-termcap
This is the GNU termcap library – a library of C functions that enable programs to send control strings to terminals in a way independent of the terminal type. The GNU termcap library does not place an arbitrary limit on the size of termcap entries, unlike most other termcap libraries. This package contains libraries and development tools for the MinGW cross-compiled version.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install mingw32-termcap
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install mingw32-termcap.
Install mingw32-termcap on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install mingw32-termcap
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install mingw32-termcap
Install mingw32-termcap on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install mingw32-termcap
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install mingw32-termcap
How To Uninstall mingw32-termcap on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the mingw32-termcap
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove mingw32-termcap
