What is milter-greylist
Greylisting is a new method of blocking significant amounts of spam at the mailserver level, but without resorting to heavyweight statistical analysis or other heuristical (and error-prone) approaches. Consequently, implementations are fairly lightweight, and may even decrease network traffic and processor load on your mailserver. This package provides a greylist filter for sendmail’s milter API.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install milter-greylist
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install milter-greylist.
Install milter-greylist on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install milter-greylist
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install milter-greylist
Install milter-greylist on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install milter-greylist
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install milter-greylist
How To Uninstall milter-greylist on Fedora 36
