How To Install maven-shared-utils on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install maven-shared-utils
on Fedora 36.
What is maven-shared-utils
This project aims to be a functional replacement for plexus-utils in Maven. It is not a 100% API compatible replacement though but a replacement with improvements a lot of unused code.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install maven-shared-utils
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install maven-shared-utils.
Install maven-shared-utils on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install maven-shared-utils
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install maven-shared-utils
Install maven-shared-utils on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install maven-shared-utils
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install maven-shared-utils
How To Uninstall maven-shared-utils on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the maven-shared-utils
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove maven-shared-utils
