How To Install macchanger on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install macchanger
on Fedora 36.
What is macchanger
Features * set specific MAC address of a network interface * set the MAC randomly * set a MAC of another vendor * set another MAC of the same vendor * reset MAC address to its original permanent hardware value * display a vendor MAC list (more than 18000 items)
We can use yum
or dnf
to install macchanger
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install macchanger.
Install macchanger on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install macchanger
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install macchanger

sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install macchanger
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install macchanger
How To Uninstall macchanger on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the macchanger
