How To Install lxqt-admin on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install lxqt-admin
on Fedora 36.
What is lxqt-admin
This package provides tools to adjust settings of the operating system LXQt is running on. Both can be launched from GUI “Configuration Center”. GUI “Time and date configuration”, binary lxqt-admin-time, can be used to adjust the system time of the operating system as well as the timezone.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install lxqt-admin
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install lxqt-admin.
Install lxqt-admin on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install lxqt-admin
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install lxqt-admin
Install lxqt-admin on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install lxqt-admin
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install lxqt-admin
How To Uninstall lxqt-admin on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the lxqt-admin
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove lxqt-admin
