How To Install lv2dynparam on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install lv2dynparam
on Fedora 36.
What is lv2dynparam
lv2dynparam is a LV2 plugin interface extension that enables plugin parameters to appear and disappear (i.e. number of voices). It also allows nested grouping of parameters. Groups can be used for things like ADSR abstraction, i.e. group of 4 float parameters. The extension should be suitable for all plugins that expose many and/or complex data types, like samplers, non-trivial synths, etc.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install lv2dynparam
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install lv2dynparam.
Install lv2dynparam on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install lv2dynparam
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install lv2dynparam
Install lv2dynparam on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install lv2dynparam
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install lv2dynparam
How To Uninstall lv2dynparam on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the lv2dynparam
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove lv2dynparam
