How To Install libtasn1 on Fedora 36

on Fedora 36.
What is libtasn1
A library that provides Abstract Syntax Notation One (ASN.1, as specified by the X.680 ITU-T recommendation) parsing and structures management, and Distinguished Encoding Rules (DER, as per X.690) encoding and decoding functions.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install libtasn1
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install libtasn1.
Install libtasn1 on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install libtasn1
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install libtasn1
Install libtasn1 on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install libtasn1
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install libtasn1
How To Uninstall libtasn1 on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the libtasn1
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove libtasn1
