How To Install jo on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install jo on Fedora 36.
What is jo
This is jo, a small utility to create JSON objects $ jo -p name=jo n=17 parser=false { “name” “n” “parser” } or arrays $ seq 1 10 | jo -a [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10]
We can use yum or dnf to install jo on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install jo.
Install jo on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install jo using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install jo
Install jo on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install jo using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install jo
How To Uninstall jo on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the jo package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove jo
