What is jFormatString
This project is derived from Sun’s implementation of java.util.Formatter. It is designed to allow compile time checks as to whether or not a use of a format string will be erroneous when executed at runtime.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install jFormatString
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install jFormatString.
Install jFormatString on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install jFormatString
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install jFormatString

using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install jFormatString
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install jFormatString
How To Uninstall jFormatString on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the jFormatString
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove jFormatString
