In this tutorial we learn how to install jconvolver on Fedora 36.
What is jconvolver
Jconvolver is a real-time convolution engine. It can execute up to a 64 by 64 convolution matrix (i.e. 4096 simultaneous convolutions) as long as your CPU(s) can handle the load. It is designed to be efficient also for sparse (e.g. diagonal) matrices. Unused matrix elements do not take any CPY time.
We can use yum or dnf to install jconvolver on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install jconvolver.
Install jconvolver on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install jconvolver using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install jconvolver
Install jconvolver on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install jconvolver using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install jconvolver
How To Uninstall jconvolver on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the jconvolver package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove jconvolver
