What is intel-compute-runtime
The Intel Graphics Compute Runtime for oneAPI Level Zero and OpenCL Driver is an open source project providing compute API support (Level Zero, OpenCL) for Intel graphics hardware architectures (HD Graphics, Xe).
We can use yum
or dnf
to install intel-compute-runtime
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install intel-compute-runtime.
Install intel-compute-runtime on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install intel-compute-runtime
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install intel-compute-runtime
Install intel-compute-runtime on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install intel-compute-runtime
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install intel-compute-runtime
How To Uninstall intel-compute-runtime on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the intel-compute-runtime
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove intel-compute-runtime
