What is gimp-dbp
David’s Batch Processor (DBP) is a simple batch processing plugin for the Gimp. It allows the user to automatically perform operations, such as re-size, on a collection of image files. Its main advantage is that the user does not have to learn a scripting language. Like the Gimp itself, DBP relies on a graphical interface.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install gimp-dbp
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install gimp-dbp.
Install gimp-dbp on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install gimp-dbp
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install gimp-dbp
Install gimp-dbp on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install gimp-dbp
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install gimp-dbp
How To Uninstall gimp-dbp on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the gimp-dbp
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove gimp-dbp
