What is filesystem-content
This subpackage of filesystem package contains just the file with the directories owned by the filesystem package. This can be used during the build process instead of calling rpm -ql filesystem.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install filesystem-content
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install filesystem-content.
Install filesystem-content on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install filesystem-content
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install filesystem-content
