What is fetch-crl

This tool and associated timer entry ensure that Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs) are periodically retrieved from the web sites of the respective Certification Authorities. It assumes that the installed CA files follow the hash.crl_url convention.

We can use yum or dnf to install fetch-crl on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install fetch-crl.

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
