How To Install fatsort on Fedora 36

on Fedora 36.
What is fatsort
Fatsort is a utility written in C to sort FAT16 and FAT32 filesystems. It is needed to sort files on cheap mp3 players that display files not sorted by their name but by the order they appear in the file allocation table (FAT).
We can use yum
or dnf
to install fatsort
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install fatsort.
Install fatsort on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install fatsort
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install fatsort
