How To Install diffpdf on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install diffpdf on Fedora 36.
What is diffpdf
DiffPDF is used to compare two PDF files. By default the comparison is of the text on each pair of pages, but comparing the appearance of pages is also supported (for example, if a diagram is changed or a paragraph reformatted). It is also possible to compare particular pages or page ranges.
We can use yum or dnf to install diffpdf on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install diffpdf.
Install diffpdf on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install diffpdf using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install diffpdf
Install diffpdf on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install diffpdf using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install diffpdf
How To Uninstall diffpdf on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the diffpdf package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove diffpdf
