How To Install cpphs on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install cpphs
on Fedora 36.
What is cpphs
Cpphs is a re-implementation of the C pre-processor that is both more compatible with Haskell, and itself written in Haskell so that it can be distributed with compilers. This version of the C pre-processor is pretty-much feature-complete and compatible with traditional (K&R) pre-processors. Additional features include a plain-text mode; an option to unlit literate code files; and an option to turn off macro-expansion.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install cpphs
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install cpphs.
Install cpphs on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install cpphs
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install cpphs
Install cpphs on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install cpphs
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install cpphs
How To Uninstall cpphs on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the cpphs
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove cpphs
