How To Install conspy on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install conspy
on Fedora 36.
What is conspy
Conspy allows a (possibly remote) user to see what is displayed on a Linux virtual console, and send keystrokes to it. It is rather like VNC, but where VNC takes control of a GUI conspy takes control of a text mode virtual console. Unlike VNC, conspy does not require a server to be installed prior to being used.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install conspy
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install conspy.
Install conspy on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install conspy
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install conspy
Install conspy on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install conspy
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install conspy
How To Uninstall conspy on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the conspy
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove conspy
